This Pre-Marriage Course gives engaged couples in entertainment the tools to build a strong and healthy relationship that lasts a lifetime. During each session, couples talk about important issues that can often get overlooked in the rush of daily life. This series of five sessions is designed to help couples in entertainment, who are engaged or thinking about marriage, prepare for their future.
The course helps couples to:

- Know the importance of spending time together
- Share goals, values, and dreams
For Entertainment Professionals
The Pre-Marriage Course is for entertainment professionals, hosted by entertainment professionals. The course was created by British authors Nicky & Sila Lee who have spoken to thousands on the subject of marriage and family life and have authored numerous books, including The Marriage Book and The Parenting Book.

The Pre-Marriage Course for Entertainment Professionals is either self-directed or you can participate with other couples over Zoom. New groups launch monthly. Please let us know your availability, and we’ll let you know when the next course launches.
What does The Pre-Marriage Course look like?
Talks
Each week, you watch a video talk that is designed to engage and inspire conversations between the couples. During the talk, you will hear experiences from multiple couples from different backgrounds regarding each topic.
Discussions
During the video, you will take breaks to discuss and answer questions with each other and will use your journal as your guide. Couples need to register in advance to receive their journal in time for the course.
Encouragement from Another Couple
After you register for the Pre-Marriage Course, you’ll have the opportunity to fill out a Couple Survey and discuss the results with another couple who has been married for two years or more and has previously completed The Marriage Course.
Support couples aren’t experts in marriage and don’t have a perfect marriage (no one does!). They’re simply available to share from their own experiences of marriage and can discuss the results of your optional Couples Survey.
The Couples Survey is an online questionnaire comprised of 150 statements which each person fills in separately and without consulting their partner, ideally before attending the first session of The Pre-Marriage Course. Once both partners have both completed and submitted their answers, the results are compiled in a confidential report that is shared with an assigned support couple in a private link prior to meeting with the couple participating.
The Couples Survey isn’t a compatibility test, but rather a snapshot of your relationship at a moment in time. The survey report guides the conversation between the support couple and the guest couple to the issues that are most relevant and important for them to discuss.
