Alpha Hollywood gives entertainment professionals the unique opportunity to explore spirituality, ask questions, and share their points of view while making friends.
While enjoying lunch or dinner, the group watches a video about different faith questions and has an open discussion to explore life’s big questions together while creating community. All backgrounds are represented, and all questions are welcomed.
Our Alpha is for entertainment professionals, hosted by entertainment professionals. It takes place at studios or production companies in Los Angeles and is often people’s highlight of the week. At one studio, participants called Alpha their “spiritual spa day.”

What does Alpha look like?
Talks
The video talks are designed to engage and inspire conversation. Each talk is around thirty minutes long and given by a speaker or played as a video. They explore the big issues around faith and unpack big questions.
Discussion
After the talk, everyone has a chance to share thoughts and ideas on the topic. There’s no obligation to say anything, and there’s nothing you can’t say. It’s a safe, confidential opportunity to hear from others and contribute your own perspective in an honest, friendly, and open environment.
